The exhibition celebrates the work of local Indigenous artists Lisa Khan, Melanie Koolmatrie and Racquel Larkin. Curated by Ngarrindjeri artist Amanda Westley.

Bring your littles or your mama for an hour of painting the cutest plaster sweets shapes, while we feed you ACTUAL tasty pastries along with a coffee or tea (hot choccies or orange juice for the minis!). This early morning event is specifically designed for those with little kiddos, but of course older children are more than welcome. We’ll keep it short and sweet, and make it as relaxing as possible for our mamas attending! Or, a guardian/carer or dad could bring along little ones to make something to gift their mum.


Sketch, squiggle & scrawl together on a St Peters street corner. Resident artist, Deborah Smalley, hosts a 2 hour "wobbly-line" ink pen sketching workshop. No drawing experience is necessary. It's lots of fun. Create your own artwork of some of St Peters heritage buildings. All materials supplied. Children must be accompanied by adults.

In this workshop we begin inside by talking briefly about observation and architecture and sketching a feature. We will then go outside to select our own buildings in the Prospect area to sketch. Learn to use watercolour pencils to sketch historic buildings in your own style.
