Join us in the new art craze of Zentangles! Unleash your creativity and relax with this therapeutic art form. No prior experience needed - just bring your enthusiasm! With sessions running for 5 weeks join in for one, some or all! The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Participants will be guided through a relaxing focused session of creative drawing. All while nourishing their creativity and listening to relaxing music. Create your own unique wooden seagull statue using acrylic paints, sandpaper, glue, and pre-cut timber kits. No art experience is required, as step-by-step guidance will be provided. All resources are included. Suitable for ages 14 and up.
This three week course teaches you how to create your own amazing decoupage masterpiece which you can display in your home. Join us at Round The Willow Tree, 6 East Terrace Henley Beach for three hands on workshops where you will create a beautiful decoupage project. These workshops will be held on over three weeks on these dates: Wednesday 6th May 2026 at 12pm - 1pm, Wednesday 13th May 2026 at 12 pm - 1 pm, and Wednesday 20th May 2026 at 12pm - 1pm. Join us for a casual Wednesday Talk with ceramicist Avital Sheffer. Avital Sheffer is a maker of sculptural ceramic vessels informed by her complex Middle Eastern, Jewish and Mediterranean heritage. Since commencing her practice in 2004 Sheffer has had 35 solo exhibitions in Australia, US and the UK. Her work is held in public collections such as the National Gallery of Australia, Sydney Powerhouse, Atelier d’art de France, Museo del Cántir, Spain and regional galleries across Australia. Sheffer is a member of the International Academy of Ceramics and her work features in numerous publications including The Pot Book by Edmund de Waal and Ceramics – an Atlas of Forms by Glenn Barkley.
