Together, we’ll explore: What permaculture is (and what it isn’t), How it can be applied in everyday life - at home, in the garden, and in community, Practical ways you can take positive action toward a more sustainable future. This session is all about sparking ideas, sharing perspectives, and connecting with others who care about creating meaningful change. Expect a mix of conversation, inspiration, and hands-on thinking as we explore how to shape the future we want - together.

Learn how to make your own unique bag from denim jeans, a fun way to recycle and repurpose, you only need basic sewing skills to create a funky, fashionable and functional bag. You can join my Willunga studio workshop and easily make one with guidance from Wild Woman of Willunga. As a supporter of upcycling, I offer workshops that turn old clothes into useful items, promoting sustainability, reducing landfill waste, and building community connections. Participants will learn how to repurpose denim jeans into a useful funky bag. The design combines years of expertise to produce a stylish, functional accessory for any season. The session covers the basics of upcycling jeans and refreshing textiles. Above all, I want you to enjoy creating, relaxing, and having a great afternoon.
All aboard for History Month! Join us at Willunga Library for a fascinating talk on the Willunga Railway. In 1905 public pressure was building to connect the South and the coast to Adelaide. In 1911 work began on the Willunga trainline. Come and hear our talk on the building of the line, the opportunities it presented to get southern produce to markets and the seaside holidays, picnics and social occasions it allowed. Plus some of the colourful stories including the solving of a murder that happened on the Willunga line.
