Adelaide Hills Outdoor Playgroup is a community, nature art and play event for children ages 0 - 6 years and their families and carers. Join us in the garden to explore the seasons and our beautiful gardens through nature art and play. This volunteer-run event has been running for ten years at The Old School Community Garden in Stirling, South Australia. The playgroup is set up for children to explore, climb and create, and to socialise and learn about nature. It's a special place to visit with many families returning with new family members again and again.

After school art classes for kids and teens. These classes encourage students to challenge themselves and gain confidence through the process of artistic creativity and creative problem solving. Class atmosphere is non judgemental and relaxed, each student's creative individuality is also nurtured. We explore many different arts approaches and the practice of becoming absorbed in the present intuitive nature of creating.

Watch how the Hills Woodworkers make a spinning top, decorate it and it's yours to take home. A playful morning for all ages to connect, share memories and enjoy games together!

AI in Action Workshop The session will demystify artificial intelligence by showing how people already use AI in everyday life and at work, often without realizing it. Participants will be guided through hands-on examples of Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity, learning what each tool is best for - from productivity and creative tasks to research and fact-checking. With a strong focus on digital inclusion, responsible use, and AI literacy, the presentation empowers community members to use AI confidently, safely, and effectively. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own devices to truly get 'hands-on' with these technologies and skills!
