The 2026 Regional Leadership Summit, themed Grit, Growth and Glory is a call out to all current and future regional leaders to rise! This summit is a catalyst for regional growth, fostering collaboration across sectors and industries to build resilient, inclusive communities.
The course aims to provide comprehensive understanding and application of the Australasian Triage Scale (ATS), Through communication, assessment, category descriptors and documentation. Apply structured approach to assessment and documentation to assign ATS. Describe elements of collaborative communication, how it impacts assessment and identify any barriers to communication and mitigation strategies. Identify common adult and paediatric presentations, assessment skill, risk factors, red flags and appropriately apply ATS. Describe the components of a focussed assessment in adult and paediatric patients. Effectively use MIST framework to communicate critical information. Understand physiological and anatomical changes in pregnancy and significant pregnancy complications. Identify the unique features in children that affect their presentation of symptoms and types of illness and injuries.
