Join us for a casual Wednesday Talk with Cinnamon Lee. Cinnamon Lee is an Australian artist renowned for her finely crafted jewellery and lighting. Trained as a gold and silversmith and compelled by an interest in the physical sciences, she unites traditional craft skills with advanced technologies to create precise, conceptually driven objects exploring themes of value, discretion, and materiality.

Join us for a relaxed, open-ended session with a huge range of jewellery-making tools and beads. We bring the gear and you bring your imagination! Create earrings, bracelets, necklaces or something completely unique. With pliers, cords, fasteners, earring hooks and so, so many beads, you’ll have everything you need to start crafting. This is a laid back, self-guided session where you make the rules.. experiment, play, and see what you create! All materials provided. Just come along and get creative!

This event is suitable for adults and young people aged 15 years and older. Enclosed footwear must be worn in the Makerspace. Follow the code of conduct while using the Makerspace.
This popular workshop is happening again! You'll learn to roll clay coils and slabs and build your chicken or chicken planter using Feeneys Clay before applying details and colour. Your little chicken will then be left to dry before it is glazed and fired ready for you to collect in two - three weeks. This is a very popular fun workshop and the techniques you'll learn can be applied to other forms such as cats or dogs or whatever your imagination challenges you with. Make your very own unique chicken or planter. Suitable for beginners or the more skilled wanting to learn new techniques. All materials and equipment, glazing and firing is included.

Join us for a 2 hour painting session PLUS a FREE mimosa. The perfect way to catch up with friends! No experience required! Learn how to draw with pen and ink! This hands-on session introduces participants to the expressive world of pen and ink drawing. Guided by Karen, you’ll learn essential techniques such as line work, hatching, cross-hatching, stippling, and creating texture and depth. The class focuses on observation and precision, helping you develop control and confidence while exploring this medium to develop your own artistic style. In this session, we will explore how to draw architectural subjects using pen and ink while simplifying complex details and creating depth through line and texture. Understanding horizon line & eye level, and introduction to basic perspective.
