Join us for a casual Wednesday Talk with Cinnamon Lee. Cinnamon Lee is an Australian artist renowned for her finely crafted jewellery and lighting. Trained as a gold and silversmith and compelled by an interest in the physical sciences, she unites traditional craft skills with advanced technologies to create precise, conceptually driven objects exploring themes of value, discretion, and materiality.

Join us for a relaxed, open-ended session with a huge range of jewellery-making tools and beads. We bring the gear and you bring your imagination! Create earrings, bracelets, necklaces or something completely unique. With pliers, cords, fasteners, earring hooks and so, so many beads, you’ll have everything you need to start crafting. This is a laid back, self-guided session where you make the rules.. experiment, play, and see what you create! All materials provided. Just come along and get creative!

A vibrant, community event proudly presented by a group of international students and the City of Adelaide. The event will feature interactive and social, experiences as the students share music, food, stories and traditions from their cultures, with the local community. This free, family-friendly event is open to adults and young people alike and is especially for locals who are keen to meet international students and take part in hands-on cultural activities.

First Nations artist Tikari Rigney will show you how to be fabulously creative with felt, collage and fabric. After drawing your imaginative designs, you will cut, stick, layer and hand sew them into a bunch of sweet little bag friends, tags or felt badges. All materials supplied.
