We invite carers to join us for a series of relaxing sessions of yoga therapy and sound healing to unwind and recharge your mind and body. This 4-part wellbeing series is designed specifically for carers supporting people with disability, mental health challenges, or complex needs integrating: trauma-informed yoga therapy, breathwork, meditation & mindfulness, and sound healing using therapeutic instruments for deep rest. All sessions are accessible, inclusive, and suitable for all bodies, ages, and abilities. No prior experience is required. Carers will leave with practical tools for daily regulation, reduced stress and improved sleep, greater emotional resilience, a sense of community and support, and renewed energy and clarity.
Join us for a session on suicide prevention and training with Ms Rosalie Kickett who is a Wilman, Beelya – Bibbulmun Nation Nyoongar Yok, with an associate degree in Aboriginal Mental Health and Counselling. Rosalie is an accredited Aboriginal Mental Health First Aid and Youth Aboriginal Mental Health First Aid and Principal Master Instructor with a passion for improving the mental health of Aboriginal communities, offering training through MHFA Australia. Rosalie will focus on the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal women who have been impacted by Family and Domestic Violence and suicide. The session will also include an artist who will work with attendees to create and design artwork, that will aim to improve mental health, build resilience and contribute towards attendees ongoing healing journey.
