Every year dice athletes from across the globe come together in an international celebration of the world's most elegant cube-based sport: Yahtzee. By sheer coincidence, this multinational, pan-global congregation of elite athletes takes place every year in the same small beer bar in the small- to medium-sized city of Brisbane, Queensland. This fiercely competitive, intensely convivial afternoon allows dicesport enthusiasts to test their mettle against one another, meet each other, and, most importantly, gives them the opportunity to receive the prizes and fame accorded to the tournament's winner. Your $20 entry gets you: a drink on arrival, an official Scrahtzee score pad, a beer when (if) you get your first Yahtzee, and a chance to win a number of prizes from both us and the official sponsor of the event, Reckless Brewing Co. The day progresses as a number of rounds until we have two clear frontrunners, who will face off against each other in a fierce head-to-head to determine our champion.
