This engaging and content-rich day will centre on embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in the classroom. Together, we will explore what it means to be a Culturally Responsive Teacher, with three focus areas: Integrating Aboriginal perspectives in STEM, Understanding Torres Strait Islander culture and identity, and Applying Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander pedagogies. Participants will receive a Goody Bag filled with educational resources created by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander educators—ideal for extending your learning and bringing meaningful content back to your classroom.

Join us for a fun-filled day and SHOW OFF your wheels! Gates open to cars for the car show at 9:00am - car show starts at 10:00am. Dress to impress and the color is RED! Red Ride is a motor bike ride, car show and family fun day to raise awareness of domestic and family violence in our community and raise much needed funds for not-for-profit organisations that provide support for individuals and families impacted by this type of violence. As this is a fund-raising event you will have the opportunity of donating to Red Ride as you enter the Caboolture Showgrounds.
