Every year during Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Prevention Month in May a National Candle Lighting Vigil is held to remember those victims whose lives were taken due to DFV. Join us on Wednesday 6th May 2026 at the Pine Rivers (Lawnton) Neighbourhood Centre for a special Candle Lighting Ceremony as we remember those who have died due to DFV. This is a FREE event but bookings are essential. Light refreshments will be provided.

To cap the day off, we'll drop by Stationery Aid, and hear from Co-founder Alison Schutt who has a vision to renew stationery for planet, people and education. Stationery Aid collects and distributes refurbished school supplies to students in need across Australia.
