Join one of our volunteer guides for a casual and relaxing walk through Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve on Jinibara Country. Immerse yourself in nature as you discover the secrets of this diverse and stunning rainforest island, and learn about its ecology and history. The rainforest track consists of boardwalk, sealed and unsealed sections and varies from relatively flat to a moderate gradient. A reasonable level of fitness is required. Come dressed for a walk in the outdoors.

Join singer-songwriter Andrea Kirwin to learn how to create music and lyrics that reflect your own individual creativity and bring out your inner songwriter.

Words collide and bold voices light up the night at this fun, energetic highlight of our program, hosted by Nick Grivas from Liquid Lyrics.

In this workshop, kids will dive into the imaginative world of reusing everyday materials to create whatever they can dream up. Through story time, guessing games, drawing, cartoons, and activity sheets, families will enjoy a fun, engaging experience that inspires them to make more from what they already have. The focus is on play, creativity, and entertainment, with learning happening naturally as children develop their own ideas and independent thinking along the way. Suitable for ages 2-8 + families.
