We’re back for the Pride Power Shots meetup and you’re invited! Pride Power Shots is a chill, queer badminton social group centered around trans people, intersex people, and queer women. Whether you’ve been playing for years, want to learn, or just want to have a chat, you’re welcome here. This isn’t a high-pressure sports club; It’s a community space first. We’re passionate about building safe, fun third spaces where we can move our bodies, laugh loudly, and exist comfortably together. You can play seriously, play socially, rotate in and out, or just hang courtside and vibe. We have equipment you can borrow, you can bring a racquet if you have one, and bring your whole self. We’re disability welcoming and access minded. While we’re not formally trained, we have members with a range of disabilities who play in ways that work for them, and we’re committed to flexibility, communication, and making the space as inclusive as possible. If you have specific access needs, feel free to reach out so we can do our best to accommodate. Folks outside our core focus demographics are welcome if they’re respectful and supportive of the space. If finances are a barrier to you participating, please reach out to us so we can chat about low-cost or free options! If you have any questions, please send us an email to pridepowershots@gmail.com
