Fresh from a sold-out tour of Germany, he’s launching his 9th studio album When Everything Was New and his 3rd live album Acoustic In Germany. His song ‘I Remember You’ was recently announced as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. With over 30 years of touring experience and 30,000 albums sold, Carus brings his passionate, energetic, and crowd-inclusive folk-rocking shows to you. Dearest Gentle Dancers, Bal Folk Perth and Perth International Dance cordially invite you to the second ever Bridgerton* Ball! Back by popular demand, the event of the season will be held at the Guildford Town Hall, at the heart of Perth’s most historic centres and home to the medieval fair each year. Doors will open at 6:30pm, a prime time for photos to be taken in your fabulous attire. This year, we are honouring the latest season of the show with a Masquerade Ball - so come in your best historically inspired disguise, with all to be revealed just before the night comes to its thrilling conclusion at 10pm. Live music, played by our fabulous band of volunteers, will accompany your traditional dance lessons, beginning at 7pm sharp. No partner or prior experience is necessary, as our events highly encourage beginners learning in the middle of the ballroom, no sneaking off to a private gazebo required! Light refreshments will be provided, but the event is alcohol and smoke/vape free. We wouldn’t want any of the ton to miss out, so get your tickets now!
