Front man David Atkinson has closely studied all aspects of Mark Knopfler’s guitar style, sounds and vocal tones over many years and has produced a presentation that will impress and amaze even the most ‘hard core’ Dire Straits fans. The band includes respected pianist Todd Ellery and Guy Slingerland; founding drummer for the Eurogliders; well known professional Bass player Manoli Vouyoucalos and dedicated Rhythm Guitarist Pete Wynne. If you have enjoyed listening to Dire Straits over the years and appreciate an entertaining showcase with a dedication to quality, then the ‘Brothers in Arms Experience’ is a show not to be missed. “Don't miss the Experience!” Recent review: Dire Straits tribute band, Brothers in Arms performed at The Cruising Yacht Club in Rockingham and left a great impression on the large crowd of members and guests. The heaving dance floor was testament to the quality and energy of the music. If you closed your eyes you would have thought Dire Straits were playing. Looking forward to having the band back here again. Get ready to tear the room apart with Flux Pavilion! The electronic music pioneer returns to Perth after eight long years, bringing a deeper, grittier, more evolved edge. Versatility doesn’t even begin to describe why Japanese DJ ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U (Yousuke Yukimatsu) is one of the most unclassifiable, electrifying DJs on the planet. Based in Tokyo since 2020, Yukimatsu’s mastery of the CDJs is legendary — effortlessly moving through techno, breakbeat, IDM, ambient, leftfield bass, and beyond. No sound is off-limits, and every set is stitched together by instinct alone. His performances demand total surrender, forcing the dancefloor to abandon category comfort and simply feel the music. Yukimatsu’s journey began humbly in Osaka, where he honed his craft while working construction. In 2014, he was invited to perform at DJ Nobu’s Future Terror — a moment that catapulted him into Japan’s underground elite. Two years later, a brain cancer diagnosis and subsequent tumour-removal surgery became the catalyst for leaving his day job and committing fully to DJing — a turning point that still resonates through every set he plays. A former fixture in Asian Dope Boys’ celebrated durational TRANCE installation/performances, Yukimatsu is also the selector behind the acclaimed mix compilation Midnight Is Comin’ (Midnight Shift). His 2022 HÖR Berlin set amassed over two million views in under ten months, and his 2025 Boiler Room performance surpassed that mark in just ten days — a testament to his global cult following and unclassifiable sound. In January 2026, Yukimatsu brings his rare, magnetic energy back to Australia. Sydney and Melbourne sold out in under 24 hours. Second shows in both cities have been added, plus fresh dates in Perth and Brisbane. This is the triumphant return of a pure force of nature, a cultural landmark, a moment that will be remembered for years to come. Redefining what a dancefloor can feel like. ---------------------------------------- VENUE INFO ALWAYS WAS, ALWAYS WILL BE. Alexander Flood is one of Australia’s commanding beat-masters, possessing a finessed arsenal of groove, power, and expertise on the drums. His unique sound and approach on the instrument has been crafted through the many years of study, training and dedication to music. Leading his band from the drum chair, Alex’s music pushes a fresh rhythmic and dynamic realm of live dance music leaning on nu-jazz, house, broken beat, DnB, funk and experimental sounds. Flood’s live set delivers hard hitting dance energy from start to finish with tight masterful drums, big bottom bass, lush keyboard harmonies and floating jazz flute melodies. Alex has worked with some heavyweight artists including Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah (formerly Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah), Elena Pinderhughes, Weedie Braimah, Ábáse, Horatio Luna, Cazeaux OSLO, Vivian Sessoms, Emma Volard and Nelson Dialect to name a few. 2023 saw Flood align with Berlin’s Jakarta Records to release his third album OSCILLATE, forging a new direction in dance music and brining together Australian & European artistry, energy and collaboration. In 2024, now working with Emerged Agency, Alex took his band on tour across Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the UK to play a hefty run of headline shows and festival spots including London Jazz Festival and Wellington Jazz Festival. Flood continues the momentum through 2025, with his bold sounding 4th studio album ARTIFCTUAL RHYTHM released in April via Atjazz Record company.
