Led by Fremantle’s David Hyams, who audiences have testified bears an uncanny vocal resemblance to the great man himself, the 6-piece line up also features Rose Parker on vocals and guitar, bassist Josh Dyson, drummer Russell Wilson, fiddler Adam Gare, and Jeremy Threlfall on pedal steel and guitar. Covering music from the beginning of Young’s solo career right through to the 21st century, the band is equally adept at capturing the essence of Young's two primary styles: from the gentle folk and country-rock of albums like “Comes A Time", to the electric guitar driven rock of the Crazy Horse days. Reviewers have commented on the authenticity of their performance and how they can “dig deep” - playing not only expected hits, but many lesser known Neil Young numbers. * * * “The Human Highway are awesome. We ran an evening with them at The Quarry Amphitheatre…and it was a sell-out success, with the crowd loving the performance and shouting for several encores…We had only positive feedback from the crowd” Mark Taylor, Wasup Promotions (Quarry Amphitheatre) “The talent and authenticity of the group was outstanding, and we received many comments of congratulations and praise for the night’s entertainment." Drew Dymond, Manager Albany Entertainment Centre " Some of the audience were heard commenting that if they had closed their eyes, they would have believed they were listening to the great man himself! Everyone left with a smile on their face! " Darwin Entertainment Centre

For over three decades, George Evelyn—better known as Nightmares on Wax—has been shaping the way we experience music. From the sample-driven grooves of Smokers Delight to the introspective landscapes of Shout Out! To Freedom, he has always crafted soundscapes that invite reflection, connection, and escapism. Nightmares on Wax is more than a DJ or producer—he is a curator of mood, a master of atmosphere, and a guide through rhythm, soul, dub, hip-hop, and electronic textures. His live sets are immersive journeys where every beat, loop, and bassline is designed to move both body and mind. This is music that listens back, music that holds space for emotion while carrying you forward on a wave of sound. Now, with Echo45 Sound System, N.O.W takes that lineage a step further. More than a compilation, the album is a living, breathing sound system experience—a mixtape that is at once a celebration and a declaration. It merges soul, roots, hip-hop, dub, and electronic textures, held together by Evelyn’s fearless creative vision. Featuring an extraordinary ensemble of collaborators, including Yasiin Bey, Greentea Peng, Sadie Walker, Liam Bailey, and more, Echo45 is not just a reflection of where Nightmares on Wax has been—it’s a bold announcement of where he’s going. Reflective, vulnerable, and rich in texture, the record invites listeners to slow down, to feel, and to inhabit the space it creates. The experience of Nightmares on Wax is reflective and liberating. It asks you to slow down, to feel, to notice the world and yourself in it. It is soulful, dub-infused, hip-hop and reggae-informed, yet underpinned with beats and bass that make you move. At its heart, it is a celebration of freedom—freedom to feel, to imagine, and to connect. Having pioneered British electronic music and as one of Warp Records’ longest-serving signings, Evelyn brings a rare magic to the stage: the ability to make something entirely new while echoing the rich musical past that informs it. Seeing Nightmares on Wax live is not just attending a show—it is stepping into a space of warmth, reflection, and sonic adventure. An invitation to come and explore freedom and what it means—or perhaps find it. ---------------------------------------- We honour and acknowledge the Whadjuk Nyoongar people as Traditional Owners of the land on which we work and live.
