Following five years of remarkable success, the Walk4Remembrance is making a triumphant return in 2026. This event provides a significant opportunity for our community to unite, fostering support, and raising awareness for veterans who have lost their lives to internal battles. By breaking the silence surrounding mental illness, we aim to contribute to the funding of impactful programs that are actively making a difference in the lives of veterans. Join us in this meaningful endeavour as we stride together towards a brighter future. The approx. 8km walk will commence from Currumbin RSL Reserve out by the creek with the halfway turning point being at Tugun Surf Life Saving Club. All funds raised will be donated to the Veteran Support Centre so they can continue to provide quality support and service to veterans. On the completion of the walk, a small cenotaph service will be held to remember those veterans who have lost their lives from the battle within.

The Resilience & Impact Luncheon 2026 brings together community leaders, professionals, families, and advocates who believe in the power of connection and collective support. Together, we will shine a light on resilience — not just as a word, but as lived experience — and raise vital funds to ensure families and children facing developmental, disability, and life challenges can access the support they need to thrive. Exceptional athletes will share their personal journeys of resilience, the setbacks they’ve faced, the obstacles they’ve overcome, and the mindset that enabled them to perform at the highest levels. Their stories will highlight the universal nature of challenge and the strength, growth, and perspective that can be built through adversity. Every ticket purchased contributes directly toward practical supports, resources, and services that help build stronger, more supported futures for families in our community.
