Following the release of their new EP She Bangs the Drums, Fremantle trio The Stamps return to the stage for a run of headline shows across Australia. The EP finds the band exploring a new energy - covering some of their favourite songs about girls, identity and desire, and making them entirely their own. After a string of introspective releases, these tracks mark a shift towards rhythm, swagger and connection; a reminder of what happens when three friends get in a room and just play. This February and March, The Stamps bring that spirit to the stage with a residency at Mojos in Fremantle and shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne
The Women on the Tools Carpentry series is developed for beginners, who have no previous experience with tools or in workshops. This course is where you can start your carpentry learning journey, as a low cost low risk venture into a workshop environment. In this 1/2day course you’ll be gently guided through basic principles of carpentry. This starting point of tool use includes: Confidence in your ability to use the following tools correctly and safely – drill drivers, measuring equipment and a taste of using a power saw. Learning to measure and cut accurately. Practice simple joinery using drills and screws. Familiarise yourself with the workshop environment, practices and health and safety. In this introductory unit, you’ll make a wooden tool caddy to take home with you.
