Our in-person massage class is perfect for parents of children with anxiety, sleep disturbances and experiencing periods of stress. Also a great recovery after conflict method to promote reconnect and healing in a visceral non talking way. In this class I will teach you massage techniques that sooth and nurture the body, promote relaxation and a sense of calm. You will: Learn about the vagus nerve and how it effects the body's stress response and immune system. Learn the Myofascial Release massage technique and how to incorporate it into a massage session tailored for you child. Practice giving your child a massage with one on one guidance from a professional massage therapist. Receive a manual and a small gift. Come and learn this simple, soothing massage technique. Bring your child, it’s a relaxed, friendly environment where you’ll discover how touch can strengthen your connection and promote relaxation.
