Education Events in Bindoon

Join us for a practical and informative workshop at Joc Dwyer’s farm in Bindoon. This workshop will explain the background to our eDNA Landcare Aust project, outline how eDNA sampling was undertaken at the local farms participating in the project, present summarised eDNA results from these farms and explore what they mean, explain how eDNA sampling works and why it matters, provide tips, tricks and limitations of eDNA sampling, plus in-field use of demonstration sampling equipment, and test a draft grower management / habitat strategy for real-world settings. You'll hear from Dr Adam Canning, James Cook University Senior Research Officer, Curtin University, Faculty of Science and Engineering eDNA Frontiers, and Craig Pensini, RegenWA project coordinator.
