Good hair, good people, good impact. Brewed and Groomed supports community-led projects while you sip, chop and connect.

What if you could refresh your wardrobe, without spending a cent? Join Circular Economy Club Sydney for our first clothes swap at Swap in the City! Clothes swaps are the place to bring your beloved quality clothing so that they go to new homes where they will be loved and cherished. And in return, you hopefully get stylish preloved pieces to freshen up your wardrobe.

You are invited to a meeting of the Cooks River Community Collective.

Join us for an evening with the artists in your community. This art opening is your opportunity to meet artists in the community who have donated their artworks for you to view and to bid on in a silent auction where 100% of proceeds support your local charity, LocalKind. This is our 4th such event and last time, there was a fantastic vibe with some amazing art on display, and a great opportunity to meet the personalities behind the pieces you can bid on and take home. We'll also have drinks and nibbles, and you get to see a wonderful artistic op shop: Op for Change.

Every week in Australia, a person is killed by their partner or a former partner. Many more experience abuse and violence. Enough is enough. Domestic and family violence is no longer a private matter — it is a whole-of-community issue. Together, we can work towards ending domestic and family violence in our community. As part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month in May, we will march for change and stand together to call for an end to domestic and gender-based violence in The Hills. The march will begin at Castle Place, Castle Hill (outside the Castle Towers purple carpark) at 7am and will conclude at Castle Hill RSL Club. Breakfast will be provided, along with speakers sharing the latest insights on the incidence of domestic violence and the strategies being developed to reduce it. The breakfast BBQ is free, but we encourage you to consider making a gold coin donation to the Hills Domestic Violence Prevention Network to support the incredible work they do in our community. Grab your friends, family and workmates and join us as we stand together to help eradicate domestic and family violence in our community.
