A calm, creative homeschool craft class where kids aged 7+ will make a bug of their choice and share nature-inspired stories. Children will be guided in sculpting and decorating their own tiny woolly pollinator using sheep’s wool roving. They'll explore wool felt, develop creativity and artistic confidence through hands-on making.

This program is for parents of young people 3 to 12 years. This program supports parents and caregivers on their journey with neurodivergent children. Together, we’ll build understanding, connection, and confidence in supporting our children’s unique strengths and needs. Together we will: - Learn about brain development and how it relates to the experiences of neurodivergent children - Explore the messages of behaviour through a compassionate, neurodiverse lens - Practice ways of giving nurturing and supportive messages that help children feel safe, understood, and valued - Share strategies for looking after ourselves while parenting, and celebrate the unique strengths our children bring
This is a 3-session program for parents/carers of young people aged 10 to 18 years. Shire of Mundaring Libraries is pleased to host this course, presented by Midvale Hub Parenting Service Perth (North East). The sessions are: Week 1: Thursday 5 March 5pm-7pm Week 2: Thursday 12 March 5pm-7pm Week 3: Thursday 19 March 5pm-7pm The program explores the changing landscape of a young person, and the different skills parents can use to keep connected with their young person. Learn more about: building positive relationships with your young people setting realistic boundaries working out how to respond in tricky emotional situations having difficult conversations about things like going out, internet use, gaming or schoolwork.
