Sustainable design features include: passive solar design, photovoltaic cells with battery storage, solar hot water – flat plate and evacuated tubes, composting, underground stormwater storage, community spaces – meeting room, laundry, bike shelter, produce garden, roof garden. Christie Walk was purpose-built as a model ecocity development.
