A guided stroll amongst a strange forest of gnarled, ancient olive trees and giant pines. If the Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a temperature of 35 degrees or more in Adelaide at 10.30am on the morning of a Guided Walk then the Walk will be cancelled. The decision to cancel will be taken 24 hours before the event and all ticket holders will be emailed and any fees paid will be refunded.

This Verge Greening Information Session is designed to help residents of the City of Mitcham understand how they can safely and successfully landscape the verge in front of their property. At this session, Council staff will outline the City of Mitcham's Verge Greening Initiative and guide attendees through the practical steps to get started, including what verge landscaping is encouraged, what is not permitted, and how to use the new online checklist-based permit process. The session will also introduce the Verge Greening Guide, featuring example verge garden designs, planting and safety considerations, maintenance responsibilities, and information about Council support and the Verge Greening Incentive Scheme. This session is suitable for residents who are considering greening their verge, are in the early planning stages, or simply want to learn more before making a decision.
