Parenting Events in Salem

A four-week series childbirth class that educates those experiencing pregnancy and their support partners on what to expect before, during, and after the birth of baby. You and your support person will learn about the stages of labor and birth process, breathing and relaxation techniques, comfort measures, and newborn care and feeding.

Families are invited to tour the Family Birth Center at any point during their pregnancy. Tours begin in the main waiting room of Building D, first floor and last approximately 50 minutes. Registration is required. During the tour, participants will be able to visit a delivery room, talk about what to bring for delivery, talk about the pain management tools available, and discover what to expect during your stay.
