Join me to discover that you don't need to be 'good at art' to be creative - you just have to know where to begin! Everyone is creative! This is a special workshop outside the Fremantle area, for residents of the Rockingham area. Tara will take you through the elements of art and design and provide examples of how these can be seen in everyday surroundings. Come and discover the unique ways your creativity can shine in this expressive art workshop and gain an understanding of what inspires you to confidently express yourself visually. No art skills required. All materials supplied.

Studio Refinement Sessions are designed for past workshop participants who would like additional space and guidance to deepen, adjust, and resolve their artwork in a focused studio environment. These relaxed 3-hour sessions provide supported studio time with mentorship available throughout. Places are limited to ensure meaningful individual support. About Ashley: Ashley Hay is a mixed media artist whose practice explores landscape through texture, surface, and intuitive response to place. Working across painting, sculpture, and layered assemblage, Ashley is known for building richly textured artworks that blur the boundaries between constructed surface and painterly expression. Recycled materials, experimental processes, and sculptural layering sit at the heart of her work. From her home studio in Safety Bay, Ashley facilitates small-group workshops designed to support both technical understanding and personal artistic development. As a Master Trainer in Powertex, she brings depth of knowledge alongside a calm, focused teaching style that encourages experimentation and confidence. Her workshops are grounded in process, material exploration, and thoughtful response to landscape — inviting participants to slow down, build depth, and create work that feels genuinely their own.
