Help commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Catalpa rescue at the Bunbury Museum. The great-grandson of the Catalpa's captain, Mr Jim Ryan, joins us at the Bunbury Museum to share about the daring voyage, rescue and re-present to the museum collection a model of the Catalpa beautifully restored by Tim Sutherland.
WALK in THEIR SHOES tours presented by WA Family Law Pathways Network and the Family Court of Western Australia. WA Family Law Pathways Network, the Family Court of Western Australia, and the Bunbury Courthouse are partnering to present a Walk in Their Shoes Tour at the Bunbury Courthouse. The tour is designed to assist practitioners in the sector to understand the pathways families take when accessing Family Court. These tours include a Q&A panel with a Magistrate, Family Consultant, Legal Aid lawyer, South West Community Legal Centre lawyer, Family Advocacy and Support Service staff member and Department of Communities; Child Protection and Family Support representative. The Bunbury tour will not include an observation of a child related proceeding list. The tours run from 3.30pm - 4.30pm and are free of charge, however booking is essential as these tours are expected to book out very quickly.
