This is a citizen science event, with data collected contributing to Council’s biodiversity data and Hanging Rock Reserve Monitoring Plan. Spotlighting is a vital tool for tracking native species and understanding the health of our bushland corridors. While out on our walk we may spot nesting birds, possums or the elusive Brush-tailed Phascogale, or hear the calls of microbats or owls flying overhead. Come along, contribute to real conservation work, and experience the magic of the bush at night.

We talk to lots of Australians who were there and to many Turkish people as well who tell us of its importance to them too. This is a very moving film, made more so by the music of Peter Sculthorpe and Eric Bogle.
