Unveiling the treasures of the music of the Arab world, 'In the Shadows of Music' is a 2-hr concert (with an interval) of a variety of Arabic music styles as an artistic response to tumultuous times. Through a vibrant tapestry of Arab musical styles (including Andalusi Muwashah, Syrian Qudoud, 20th Century Classics, Longa, Sufi and more), Tarab Ensemble's performances are a testament to the power of classical Arabic music in defying time and space while fostering empathy, hope, beauty and unity.

As part of the Feast of Cultures, we’re inviting women from multicultural backgrounds to come together to relax, connect, and experience Yoga Nidra with Nina. Nina will also share stories of Finnish culture and music. It’s an opportunity to slow down, take time for rest, and build connections with other local multicultural women.
