The purpose of the VicEmergency App Help Drop-In sessions is to support community members to install, understand and confidently use the VicEmergency app so they can stay informed and safer during emergencies. These hands-on sessions provide practical assistance to help participants download, install and set up VicEmergency and other useful emergency information tools on their smartphones or tablets. The sessions are open to people of all skill levels, and facilitators can provide as much support as needed, including one-on-one help. Participants will also learn what different types of warnings, advice and updates mean within VicEmergency, and how to use the app to stay informed about local incidents and changing conditions. The aim is to build confidence using official emergency information sources, helping community members feel more prepared and connected during emergencies.
