Discover the best events and make the most of your time in Sunbury. From education to nightlife and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.
You are invited to join talented Hume artist Ramneek Virk in celebrating the launch of her first solo exhibition of vibrant flower paintings. Ramneek is a passionate artist who dedicates her early mornings to acrylic and oil painting - a meditative process shaped by discipline and quiet devotion to her floral subjects. She describes painting as a form of 'homecoming'; where each artwork communicates her personal journey, heritage, and special bond with nature. For her, creativity is an emotional experience of creating, 'not just a flower, but a feeling'. Refreshments will be served at the launch, followed by brief speeches and a special talk by the artist's close friend.
Whether you’re a seasoned Picasso or can barely draw a stick figure after two wines, you’re in safe (and slightly sassy) hands. We’ll guide you step-by-step through creating our fabulously cheeky artwork topped off with a glitter-paint coating on your artworks heels — all while you sip, giggle and enjoy live drag performances throughout the night.

Join talented Hume artist Kim Jackson in celebrating the launch of a new selection of paintings, drawings and unique textile artworks. Kim Jackson enjoys investigating the physical and poetic qualities of various creative materials, often returning to previous versions of her subjects and designs. Kim focuses on plants as a central subject - exploring how their physical transformation can be used to express emotional states and give shape to feelings. Working with found fabric, dried flowers, charcoal and paint, her artworks are delicate, personal and playful. Refreshments will be served at the Exhibition Launch, followed by brief speeches.
