With its imposing Italianate villa set amongst 38 acres of botanically significant gardens, this remarkable hill station continues to delight and inspire visitors. Duneira Estate is ablaze with sensational Autumn colour, and upon entering the gates visitors encounter one of the best surviving examples of a privately owned avenue in the Southern Hemisphere. The iconic 500m Dutch Elm avenue affords a spectacular backdrop for keen photographers. Explore the secret garden and discover the 145 yr old weeping Cherry tree, stroll through the orchards to the north of the historic homestead and walk through the labyrinth. Autumn is one of the peak seasons in this spectacular heritage listed garden and the grand garden will be open every weekend in April during the Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival.
