Join Jess for the Intermediate 2 Shibari classes, a journey into more advanced shibari techniques and concepts. These classes are designed for those who have completed the Intermediate 1 level at Peer Rope Melbourne or are coming from other schools at a similar level. Ticket includes a free drink and hot wedges to share after class. Jess's unique approach embodies an eclectic mix of diverse Japanese rope bondage styles, intricately crafted to convey their insights into the deeper meanings behind our practices. Teaching the 'why' we do what we do. She enjoys a 360° learning experiencing, workshopping ideas and the energetic side to rope. Proficiency at this stage includes mastery of a solid gote, adept comprehension of or ability to achieve optimal tensions and frictions, honed negotiation and communication skills, and a shared commitment to continual learning and growth.
Welcome to Peer Rope Melbourne - Southside! Excited to explore and grow with our students as we expand into a new space at St Kilda (East). The next 6 week block is open for registrations. Last one sold out - don't wait to secure your spot! Ticket covers the dates of 11th May, 25th May & 8th June. Beginner One and Two classes on the same night. These entry level classes will occur once per fortnight on a Monday evening. Opening your world to foundational rope skills, safety and consent, rope lineages, frictions-tensions-locks. Then working through second part of beginners to build your well established foundational knowledge into proper harnesses for every part of the body, with the above foundations in mind.
