Sketchbook Satchel - the art class that prepares you to travel! Royal Queensland Art Society Gold Coast (RQAS) Broadbeach Boulevard, Broadbeach QLD, Australia The first hour is spent focusing on a particular drawing skill. Mrs Red, a qualified Art Teacher & Illustrator prints off worksheet for this hour for everyone to follow. Then after a short break, we get into sketchbook drawing following a monthly theme. October's theme was pumpkins, November's is horses. All you need to start these classes is a sketchbook and drawing pencils. I also encourage you to bring other art supplies you may have at home like coloured pencils, watercolours, gouache, pan pastels, coloured marker pens and crayons.

Join us for a hands-on Paint & Plant Terracotta Pot Workshop, perfect for kids aged 4 and up, parents, grandparents, and anyone who wants to get creative together! In this beginner-friendly session, you’ll paint your own terracotta pot with your unique design, then plant a little seedling friend to take home. It’s a relaxed, family-friendly environment where kids and adults can enjoy quality time while getting creative and connecting with nature. All materials are provided, including pots, paints, brushes, plants, and potting mix, so all you need to bring is your imagination!

Weekly Classes are the perfect way to commit to your craft and develop into the budding artist you’ve always desired to be! Classes run from 8:30am - 12pm Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with an ongoing weekly commitment to the class in order to secure your seat as there is limited availability.
