AI is moving faster than ever. In just the first few months of 2026, we’ve already seen a surge of new models, agent frameworks, and developer tools reshaping how we build, ship, and scale products. From OpenClaw to the latest frontier models and AI-native tooling, the pace of innovation is no longer incremental — it’s exponential. But with great capability comes new complexity. Are we truly understanding the tools we are adopting, or just racing to integrate them? Are these systems making us more productive — or quietly introducing hidden risks in reliability, security, and decision-making? This session is about catching up, not just in features, but in mindset. We’ll explore the latest AI trends from OpenClaw to emerging models and tools, unpack what actually matters for builders, and learn how to harness these powerful technologies responsibly while staying aware of their limits.
How can AI give you back nine hours a week? Join us to learn more and to meet others in industry, government and academia who are working with the technology that is shaping our future. Seats are limited so please register early to secure your spot.

The last two years has witnessed a rapid rise in the use of AI in healthcare, from AI-powered pathology and radiology tests to the use of AI scribes in the clinical consultation. It is now estimated that up to a quarter of Australian GPs are using or preparing to use an AI scribe in their daily clinical practice. While the potential benefits are undeniable, there are legal, regulatory, ethical, and professional issues that also need to be understood, including consent and privacy. As new uses and functionalities are added to AI scribes, this also raises questions over their unregulated use and the weight courts will attach to AI-generated records in the context of civil litigation.
Where AI meets the real world: practical wins, painful lessons, and what smart teams are doing next.
