Join CVA in their ongoing efforts to restore the wetland biodiversity of Forrestdale Lake! Over summer, we’ll be nurturing our native seedlings through targeted watering and weeding to help them withstand the heat, outcompete invasive species, and support the long-term health of this vital habitat. Forrestdale Lake is a unique seasonal wetland that provides crucial ecosystem services for both wildlife and people — from blue-carbon sequestration and natural water filtration to offering essential habitat and food sources for native birds and animals.
Take a journey along one of the world's most pristine free-flowing rivers. The documentary features rare and exclusive footage of the river’s remarkable wildlife, including the critically endangered freshwater sawfish. Arrive from 6pm for a picnic on the grass, with the event starting at 6.45pm. This is an alcohol free event.
