Find the best art events and make the most of your time tomorrow in Sydney. From music to pets and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.

Set in a gritty courtroom in a corner of purgatory called Hope, this dark comedy puts history’s most notorious sinner on trial to dissect the very nature of justice, faith, and human frailty. Through a sharp-tongued legal battle, the play explores the haunting boundaries of infinite mercy. Is Judas a cold-blooded traitor, or simply a man caught in the machinery of a divine script? More than a trial of one man, this is an investigation into the universal struggle of self-forgiveness. It asks if we are defined by our greatest failures or if the capacity for grace is truly boundless.

Come try different art styles at the library! We’ll explore charcoal, pastels, watercolour, and acrylic paint in a fun, relaxed space. All materials are supplied. Bring your creativity and enjoy making art with others!
Over 4 weeks, learn to slab build and hand coil a vessel. Occurs Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:30pm May 6th - May 27th.

This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from the artist about the ideas and processes behind her work. Free event, booking essential.
Collage Forage combines the magical appeal of mushrooms with collage making in a pub. This snip session is a very special creative night out for beginners and seasoned collage artists alike. No prior experience is necessary. Plenty of fun guaranteed! Share conversation, dip into a treasure-trove of materials and make collages inspired by the textures, shapes and colours of local fungi. All materials are provided but please remember to bring your favourite scissors for cutting. To add to the vibe of this year's Collage Forage event in Sydney, your ticket price includes one portion of either mushroom or pork dumplings served hot from the Double Happy kitchen at The Empire Hotel. Additional food and drinks are available to purchase at the venue on the night.

Welcome back to the May edition of the Sappho Poetry Night, the first of the new series to include featured poets! As well as our amazing open mic section, the event will also included readings from poets Sarah Holland-Batt and Naomi Cammayo! Poetry nights are held on the first Wednesday of every month (except January) and have become renowned for their welcoming atmosphere and line-up of well-known poets. Supported by University of Technology Sydney Creative Writing, this event series is hosted by poets and UTS creative writing teachers, Dave Drayton, Sarah Attfield and Anne Casey. Poets at all stages – from absolute beginners to established – are invited (and warmly encouraged!) to sign up for the open mic roster at the venue from 6.30 pm on the night. There will be a limited number of two-minute reading slots available. The event kicks off at 7 pm. All welcome!
