Explore the vibrant event scene and make the most of your time in Picton. From art to technology and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.
Moments with Mum is a beautifully curated photography experience designed to celebrate this season of motherhood and family. More than just a photoshoot, it’s a chance to slow down, be present, and enjoy time together, while those genuine, joy-filled moments are captured forever. Led by highly experienced family photographer Jenny Tolvanen, each session is relaxed, private, and thoughtfully guided so you can feel comfortable in front of the camera. With gentle direction and a warm approach, Jenny creates a space where natural smiles, laughter, and connection come effortlessly. Set against a softly draped backdrop with wildflowers and a subtle vintage feel, the styling is designed to be timeless, light, and full of warmth. With a collection of beautiful, thoughtfully chosen props, the experience stays playful and easy for both children and adults, making it just as enjoyable as it is meaningful. This experience is perfect for multi-generational families, whether it’s Mum, Nan, and the kids, or the whole family coming together to celebrate. It also makes a thoughtful and lasting gift, something far more meaningful than flowers, and treasured for years to come. Whether it’s a quiet cuddle, shared laughter, or those in-between moments you never want to forget, this experience is all about capturing your story, just as it is right now.

Take a moment to slow down and indulge in a little well-deserved self-care this Mother’s Day. This calming, hands-on workshop invites you to create your own collection of luxurious bath and body products, designed to help you relax, unwind, and feel your best.

Returning to your body's deepest reserves. An afternoon for women to return to the body's deepest reserves through the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in the stillness of winter. Halfway through a Fire Horse year, this is the pause before the second half begins.

Stonequarry Creek is prone to flooding during periods of high rainfall. The creek banks are also impacted by the establishment of invasive weeds such as Trad, Turkey Rhubarb, Privet and Wild Tobacco which can clog up our waterways and ultimately act like a bath plug during flood events. Through Bushcare activity days, groups will remove invasive species and replace them with native trees and shrubs that will help the site become more resilient to high rainfall events, stabilise creek banks and enhance habitat for local birds, insects and other fauna. Some of the local native plants include Paperbarks, She Oaks, Wattles, Tea Tree and Mat Rush.
