We believe “strength is for everyone”…and since 2017, Valkyrie has been on a mission to make health, community and strength training more accessible for the folks who really need it. Fast forward to 2026 and our day dream of a vision has been fully realised… On the 28th of February, we’re taking over The Oak to run our very first “Gym Stuff For Non-Gym Folks” charity event! Learn new skills using nothing but your own body and some creative “weights” supplied by our friends behind the bar! Lean into the “holy trinity” of wholesome community…beers, weights and dad jokes! Share a beer with your mates and call it a workout! Receive a DIY 4-week “at home” program to take home after the event!
