Create a creature from upcycled materials inspired by the beautiful lake around MAC yapang and local monster legends. Join artist Kate Dorrough for a fun, hands-on workshop inspired by the stunning lake surrounding MAC yapang Gallery and the local legend of the Pulbah Island Monster. Using upcycled textiles, buttons, beads, and sequins, you’ll design and craft your very own stuffed fabric creature that can be taken home, hung in your room or used as a unique pillow. Learn creative skills, including designing, cutting, stitching, hand sewing, and adding stuffing to bring your river creature to life. All materials are provided, along with guided instructions for using a needle and thread.
