Explore the vibrant event scene and make the most of your time in Singleton. From education to music and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.
This program spans over 4 months, with 8 technical sessions and 4 open sessions. The technical sessions are 4 hours in duration and cover topics that are fundamental for the role of an OCE. They are also topics that are often not well understood. We focus on using structure and process which helps you present your responses with clarity. Our open sessions are 2 hours and are an open agenda for you to be able to ask questions as a group. These are conducted online. Candidates will also receive a comprehensive workbook.
Learning from disasters is a one-day program developed by the NSW Resources Regulator. Core Mine Pty Ltd are approved training providers (ATP# AREQ0017645) to facilitate this program. Attendees will learn about previous events in the mining industry which has lead to fatal (or near fatal) outcomes. You will also be able to identify a set of patterns that are common across these case studies and apply them to your own workplace. A certificate of completion is issued upon completion of this course.

Our Shotfiring course covers: Whilst this is specifically for open cut applications, there is substantial cross over to the underground statutory functions. Attendees will receive a minimum of 4 hours of formal training that will go towards their Maintenance of Competence for their NSW Practicing Certificate (accompanied by a certificate of completion). Effective interventions can make a real difference and save lives. Our programs aim at training individuals from all walks of life, as well as organisational groups. All Wesley LifeForce facilitators are accredited trainers and have completed suicide intervention training.
