Capture the energy of your route—whether it’s city streets, buses, bikes, or walking paths—through layered textures and vibrant urban streetscapes. Learn how to combine perspective drawing with bold use of materials to tell your story visually. All art supplies will be provided.

Join artist Aksara Harriram, the creative force behind her art series Surreal Estate, for a vibrant journey into the mind’s eye. An extension of her art practice is creating an immersive experience through the Floating Suburb Project which is community driven and invites participants to think about their vision of future cities. Aksara believes that the way we move through our world should be inclusive, energetic, and ever-changing. How do you get to where you want to be? Together, we will map out our travels, track our distances and record the way we move through different environments. Using drawing and a variety of textures, participants will create an ‘active path’ that captures the unique feeling of your journey through those spaces.
