Meeting at the North Coast Regional Botanic Garden, we’ll explore digital illustration & portraiture using photography & Adobe Fresco. Join Bernard Kelly Edwards as he guides you through the process of creating beautiful portraits using Adobe Fresco's powerful tools. DSLR cameras, iPads and Apple Pencils will be provided or you are welcome to bring your own device. Adobe Fresco is a free app to download.

Each school holidays, we bring you a fresh mix of fast, fun, and hands-on challenges that spark curiosity and creativity. From paper plane races to marshmallow bridges, shadow play to bounce battles, every activity is designed to be quick, exciting, and totally family friendly.
To celebrate Youth Week, the YAM Young Creatives will be leading special Youth Tours designed by young people, for young people through RELICS: A New World Rises. Get behind-the-scenes insights, hear what inspired the creators of RELICS and take part in a scavenger hunt. After your guided tour, you are welcome to stay and explore the exhibition at your own pace or get creative in the RELICS Play Space.
A science + creativity after school program for curious makers aged 10-15 years old. Runs for 8 weeks during Term 2 from 28 April - 16 June. Young makers will experiment, invent and problem-solve as they explore: Drawing machines powered by motors, water and wind Glow and phosphorescence experiments layered with art and design Creative artmaking with repurposed and found materials Kinetic and aerodynamics challenges including paper helicopters, plane gliders, or wind-powered creations. UV-reactive ‘light drawing’ experiments Moving artwork inventions inspired by patterns and processes found in nature
