This Women’s Grief Ceremony is an intentional space for women to come together in community, to simply be with one another, and to move through grief held in compassion, love, and sisterhood. This circle welcomes all forms of grief, including grief for loved ones passed, pregnancy journeys, endings to relationships, grief for life changes, dreams, or identities, or grief for the way we thought things would be but aren’t. You may cry. Others may see you cry. And if this feels uncomfortable, it is an invitation back into your humanness ~ back into circle and into ceremony ~ the way it has been for women long before they severed you from your connection to your sisterhood. To be in circle is to reclaim your birthright of togetherness. No experience is needed. Sharing is always optional. Come exactly as you are. You are not alone. What to Expect at the Ceremony: A grounding meditation to open presence and settle the nervous system. A compassionate sharing circle where you may speak or simply witness. Connection with other women walking their own grief journeys. Tea or Cacao. What to Bring: Water bottle or personal comforts. A small sacred or meaningful item for the altar (photo, crystal, flower, token, etc.) ~ optional. Any personal items you may need for emotional care (tissues, grounding items). A compassionate willingness to honour yourself and others exactly where you/they are. Limited to 10 women. Your contribution supports the practical needs of the circle, light snacks and the sacred space that holds us, allowing this gathering to be offered with care and intention.
