Education Events in Montclair

Join us at Montclair Community Farms for a week-long camp of outdoor exploration! This program is designed for students ages 6 to 9, and will focus on getting students engaged in hands-on projects around the farm.

New children's program: Time Travelers! March 31: Historic Tea. Travel back in time to explore the stories, scents, and flavors of herbs as they learn the art of the Victorian tea. Children will learn how herbs were historically used as they brew their own tea and turn every sip into a step through history. April 2: Butter Making. Step into a time when Montclair was an agricultural community! Children will learn the day-to-day life of people during the early 1800s as they work on the hearth with historic cooking tools. Students will grind spices, churn butter, and make bread!
