When schools are closed, the farm is in session! April 16th: Starting Seeds and Companion Planting! Students will learn about starting seeds and the benefits of companion planting through a planting and cooking activity with veggies and herbs grown on the farm. Farm School is designed for students in grades K - 5. All sessions run from 9am to 12pm.
Sweet Pea will meet from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Dates for class: Fri, Apr 24, 4pm - Fri, May 22, 5:30pm EDT. Montclair Community Farms, Montclair NJ, United States. Refunds are only provided in the event that Sweet Pea is cancelled due to low registration, as we may not be able to fill your spot!
Sprouts will meet from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Sprouts will meet every Saturday for 5 weeks. Dates for class: 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16, 5/23. All students who attend Sprouts are required to be able to use the bathroom on their own. Refunds are only provided in the event that Sprouts is cancelled due to low registration, as we may not be able to fill your spot!

Spend July on the farm at Sweet Pea Summer! This month-long series of programs is open to children ages 6 through 9. Each week-long all-outdoor camp session will dive into a different farm topic to excite our young learners about all that the farm and our natural world have to offer! Whether your child is an animal lover, budding artist, young foodie, or just wants to dig their hands in the dirt, we've got something for all learners! Week 1: June 29th - July 2nd, 9am - 12pm Week 2: July 6th - July 9th, 9am - 12pm Week 3: July 13th - July 16th, 9 am - 12pm *Scholarships are available for those interested.
