Barbara Ingram School for the Arts presents Hadestown Teen Edition, a specially adapted version of the Tony and Grammy award-winning musical. This adaptation, featuring the same book, music, and lyrics by Anaïs Mitchell, is tailored for young performers and presents the compelling intertwining myths of Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone. With a jazz-infused folk opera style, this production explores themes of love, industry, and hope, offering a unique and engaging experience for teen audiences.

Experience the Wizard of Oz as if you have never seen it before! Join Dorothy and her iconic friends as they journey over the rainbow and down the yellow brick road to meet the Wizard of Oz. The Western Maryland City Ballet Company and The City Ballet School present this premiere with new original choreography by Danielle Horochowski with Amy Wrobleski and a score by Dmitri Shostakovich. Featuring a cast of 70 dancers, stunning costume design, and brilliant theatrical magic, this action packed ballet is the perfect adventure for all ages!
Join us in this sweet workshop where we’ll be making these charming little cake boxes, perfect for holding trinkets and other small keepsakes. All materials provided and no experience needed! Sarah will walk you through all the steps & you’ll leave with a small trinket box that almost looks good enough to eat!
Join us for our first mug painting class! All materials will be provided including the mugs, paints, brushes, pallets, aprons, etc. All materials are included in the event ticket fee. These make for great gifts, or just for regular use around the house! The paint we are using is also food grade safe and dishwasher safe, and is made specifically for painting on glass and ceramics, so no need to worry about it fading or washing off. These ceramic tiles can be used as coasters, stepping stones, or decorative centerpieces, depending on which template you’d like to use. All skill levels welcome.

For fans of the popular program “Who Do You Think You Are?” join genealogy researchers Carol Miller-Schultz and Jean Conte for an exciting presentation as they dig up the history of CVB President Dan Spedden's ancestry. This will be an evening of food, drinks, and exploring genealogical roots!
