Jimmy Fortune, a renowned country music artist, is best known for his 21-year tenure with the Statler Brothers. Joining the group as a temporary replacement for Lew DeWitt, Fortune quickly became a permanent member and contributed to their success. The Statler Brothers, along with Fortune, were inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in 2007 and the Country Music Association Hall of Fame in 2008. As a solo artist, Fortune was inducted into the Virginia Musical Hall of Fame in 2018. Currently residing in Tennessee, Fortune continues to write, tour, and record music, sharing his talent and legacy with fans around the world.
