We will focus on the practical 'real-life' skills necessary for independence, including basic financial literacy, managing a personal schedule without a bell system, and the fundamentals of communal living and dorm safety. This workshop is only for high school seniors.
This 6-week course continues the exploration of theatrical clown with a focus on building individualized clown characters. Participants will explore Lecoq-based physical theatre techniques, status exercises, and clown entrees (stock ensemble clown acts). Prerequisites: Clown 101 or approval by the instructor. Participants should wear clothes they can move in and bring a water bottle and a notebook. Each 2-hour session includes a check-in, warm-up, and check-out. Cost: $150. Scholarships available.
