Living in Silver Lake, **Gus Seyffert** expanded into playing different styles of music and became a staple in LA’s East Side music scene, playing around town with his band Willoughby, as well as Inara George, Greg Kurstin, Mike Andrews, The Haden Triplets, and Benji Hughes, among many others. Through his work with top tier musicians and producers such as Greg Kurstin, Joey Waronker, Ariel Rechtshaid, Glyn Johns, and Nigel Godrich, Gus found himself recording and touring with acts such as Adele, Beck, The Bird And The Bee, The Black Keys, Norah Jones, Michael Kiwanuka, Roger Waters and Sia to name a few. Gus’ obsession with collecting of vintage instruments and recording equipment led to him spending more and more time in the studio as a producer and engineer. He now owns and operates the recording studio Sargent Recorders in LA where he’s been developing bands, writing, and making records. Some production credits include Beck, Michael Kiwanuka, Bedouine, Dr. Dog, Michelle Branch, Jenny Lewis, James Supercave, Spain, Steady Holiday, and Trixie Whitley.
