Bon Enfant is a quintet as plural as its members and horizons, for whom rock is as much a passion as a way of life. Formed at the end of the previous decade by Daphné Brissette and Guillaume Chiasson, the band - quickly joined by Etienne Côté, Melissa Fortin and Alex Burger - is releasing a homonymous debut album in 2019. From the outset, the band's groovy pop sound borrowed from folk-rock and psych, and two years later, Diorama was even more expansive, incorporating aspects of disco, hard rock and glam rock - a convincing combination that earned them the Félix for Rock Album of the Year at the ADISQ 2022 gala. Touring Quebec, Europe and the U.K., the band continues to develop a permeable, open-minded rock sound, embracing new musical niches for the future: Demande spéciale was released in 2024 on Duprince Records.

Standard Time is happy to welcome back Keys N Krates and friends for another Odd Soul party! “Odd Soul” is a global dance music party curated by the members of Keys N Krates. They hand pick artists to create a lineup that brings good music and good vibes to an inclusive group of people who want to dance and party all night long. Known for their idiosyncratic and organic sample-driven approach to dance music, Keys N Krates continues to evolve as artists and producers. The Toronto-based trio, made up of Adam Tune, David Matisse, and Greg Dawson, began as a live act that would flip popular hip-hop and dance music tunes. The trio then decided they wanted to create their own music and found success with their breakout single Dum Dee Dum, a song that became an anthem of the subgenre of instrumental trap music. Their affinity for flipping off-kilter samples and writing fun dance floor songs didn’t stop there. They continued to evolve their style over the years, injecting more of their childhood influences into their music until finally arriving at making house music from their perspective, which is influenced by hip hop, tribal rhythms, 90’s house music, RnB, and 70’s disco and soul. Mix Signals is a Toronto-based DJ duo known for bold, high-energy performances and eclectic electronic sets built around hypnotic grooves and emotional peaks. Since debuting in December 2023, they’ve built a name in the underground scene with a residency at Insomnia, performances in Montreal, and openings for artists like M.I.A. KTK and Keys N Krates. From clubs to warehouse raves, Mix Signals creates unforgettable moments that last long after the music stops. From the heart of Tokyo's electrifying nightlife to the thriving music scene of Toronto, Sakiko Nagai is redefining the dance floor with her irresistibly groovy sound. Specializing in disco, boogie, and house, she crafts sets that are a celebration of rhythm and funk. Her residency at 915 Dupont has been local’s favourite showcasing the best of city pop and boogie hits on vinyl. Event admin StandardTime Update this event

Pastel Blank revolves around the songs and voice of songwriter Angus Watt. It is brought to life by an ever-shifting cast of musicians and recurring collaborators from Montréal, Vancouver, and Victoria, and exists somewhere between a “solo” project and a band. Pastel Blank cloaks experimentation in pop-minded song structure; the sheen and gloss of a disco ball glints off the edges of sharp, angular post-punk sensibilities. The groove is a morse code stutter; there is funkiness, but it is tempered by a wide-eyed nervousness, as if the songs themselves aren’t sure what will happen next. The result is a warped fun house mirror of referentialism; a collage of sounds that are at once familiar and yet also slightly alien in their combination.

Standard Time welcomes back NORTEC: Bostich + Fussible for an exclusive live electronic set. BOSTICH + FUSSIBLE emerged from the burgeoning electronic scene in Tijuana. In 1999 they invented a new style of music called Nortec - a fusion Norteño ("from the North") and Techno, founding as well the Nortec Collective Documenting the collision between electronic music characterized by dance beats and traditional forms of Mexican music performed with live instrumentation, Nortec Collective paved the way for a new generation of producers and DJs that have reinvented electronic music from a global perspective. The duo has toured for the last 15 years around the globe from Europe to Australia, from South America to Japan and China, also performed in the most important festivals such as Bonnaroo and Coachella - all while still managing to find the time to become iconic artists in their home country of Mexico. Tickets now on sale.

Pictoria Vark is getting a better handle on living. The past few years have been a whirlwind for the Chicago-based bassist and songwriter. Her incessant time on tour in the last few years led to epiphanies, big and small, about how fleeting life is. The title of her second album, Nothing Sticks, states it plainly: that everything we try to hold onto - whether it's a relationship, a moment, a career, or a way of life - will come to an end. In confronting these hard truths over the course of ten songs, she finds gratitude, heartbreak, acceptance, and ultimately, the strength to live life to its fullest. Pictoria Vark has been critically acclaimed by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and Forbes, and has been seen sharing stages across the U.S. with La Dispute, Tegan and Sara, and Tommy Lefroy
